Subsidy for Psychotherapy

A portion of the costs for psychotherapy can be reimbursed by your health insurance, provided that an ICD diagnosis is present. The current subsidies per session are:

 

•  ÖGK: €33.70

•  BVAEB: €48.80

•  SVS: €45.00

 

Application Process for Subsidy

You can attend the first 10 sessions without needing to submit an application.

To apply for the subsidy, you need a confirmation from a doctor (e.g., general practitioner or psychiatrist, before the second session) stating that psychotherapy is medically indicated.

From the 11th session onwards, an application to your health insurance provider is required.

 

Costs for Application Processing

I charge €30 for preparing the application, which will be reimbursed by your health insurance.

cancellation policy

If you are unable to keep an appointment that you have made, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel later or fail to appear, you will be charged for the reserved time. Arriving late for an appointment shortens the therapy session.
